FISH

FISH - Friends in Service Here
Serving the Rush-Henrietta Community  Since 1969!

FISH receives calls from individuals unable to drive themselves to essential appointments at hospitals, doctors’ offices, and medical specialists. Clients should be able to walk from their home to the vehicle and in/out of the appointment facility – independently or on the arm of a driver. FISH serves residents who live within the Rush-Henrietta Central School District.

Ambulatory persons in need of a ride should call 585/453-2370
before 12:00 noon to request transportation for the next day.
No wheelchairs, transport chairs or scooters.
Transportation may be scheduled for Monday through Friday.

Transportation can be arranged before an application is submitted. Clients may make a donation to FISH, but it is not required to make a contribution in order to receive service.

FISH is an all-volunteer organization, a mission of the Rush-Henrietta Interfaith League
and a member of
Lifespan’s Volunteer Transportation Consortium.
